
Laurence Mandrile Aguirre
Laurence Mandrile Aguirre is Managing Director and General Market Manager (GMM) for Citi Private Bank Switzerland and Monaco. Based in Geneva, Laurence was appointed to the role in June 2019 and is responsible for growing and supervising the team of private bankers covering the UHNW and family offices based in Switzerland.
With more than 20 years of client servicing experience, Laurence started her career in Citi Monaco in 1998 and has held various leadership positions across its private banking business in London and Geneva.
Laurence was most recently head of investment counselling for the UK region based in London where she led a team of professionals in investment dialogues and providing active and relevant advice to clients. Prior to that, she was in Monaco as a senior investment counsellor covering key clients in the EMEA region and developed coverage expertise for sophisticated family offices. She also served as a board member of Citi Monaco’s legal entity.
From 2004 and 2007, Laurence was a Team Leader providing opportunistic ideas to CPB clients across equity, fixed income and derivatives products. She also led teams based in London and Geneva.
Laurence moved to London in June 2005 after spending five years in Geneva as an investment counsellor covering several regions.
Laurence began her career as trader in FX, Rates and equity trading, and managing a proprietary book. She holds a post graduate degree in financial engineering and a Master in Economics.
